Apprendre et raisonner en géographie par le jeu de simulation

Abstract : School geography has incorporated the use of educational games to develop students’ geographical reasoning. Among these educational games, simulation games, thanks to its characteristics, is particularly suited for this objective. They allow to undersantand spatial processes and actors parts. The experiment show that this kind of game cultivates geographical reasoning, as evidenced by the resolution of a problem with relating social, economic and environmental dimensions. For this experiment, a layout and role play was created. It is part of a systemic geography. The objective of this game is to enable students to understand rural areas organization :spacial stakes and actors parts. During the game, students show geographical resonning on this knowledges and they strategys show a good comprehension.
