Optimisation de la chaîne de production

Abstract : Manufacturing dies for cutting corrugated carboard is a very competitive business. For the last thirty years our firm has worked diligently to create dies of the desired shapes of the highest quality, at the lowest cost and the least delay. Following a plan of investment in all our machinery, we changed our approach through improvements in our chain of production. I decided to study possible improvements in the flow of produd through our plant. With the collaboration of the personnel involved, the initial assessement of the enterprise was completed using the tools studied at CNAM, namely a PERT chart. Creating the group not only allowed us to evaluate our ideas but to target problems and to realize changes permitting improvements to our work stations. Deadlines were formalized to bring about the desired changes. It is important to note that we used a KanBan chart to manage our stock of raw materials. Once the projects were finalized, the resulting improvements have paid off with considerable gains with minimal investment
