Prise en charge des luxations d’épaule aux urgences de l’hôpital Robert Picqué en 2013 : épidémiologie, suivi et évaluation du déficit fonctionnel à un an

Abstract : Introduction : We initiated a retrospective study, in the HIARP emergency in 2013 to evaluate the results one year after an anterior shoulder dislocation with the Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand (DASH) questionnaire. Methods : 38 patients, aged eigtheen and over, were included in the study, coming to the emergency service in the 2013. 28 patients were evaluated by the DASH questionnaire one year after the anterior shoulder dislocation. Results : We have 58% of male patients. The average age is 44,6. A third of them have a previous story of anterior shoulder dislocation. Half of them have no aftereffect, a quater of them were operated. The significant factors : youth, being a man and an immobilisation with the arm tied to the torso for less than 3 weeks lead to a low score in the DASH questionnaire (p< 0,05). The risk factors of recurrence are significantly the age and a nervous injury. (p<0,05). Conclusion: After one year, half of them have no afterefect, as they are young and men.
