Dynamiques identitaires des accompagnants des élèves en situation de handicap (AESH) en voie de professionnalisation

Abstract : The development of the policy of education of disabled children has generated an increase in the number of these students into mainstream education. The corps of school assistants (AESH) created to meet this growing demand for human resources have become indispensable players in inclusive education. The prospect of professionalization of this function since 2014 impacting their identity construction. This research, conducted from three comprehensive interviews of AESH practicing in Nantes, brings out the implications of the institutional evolution of the identity dynamics they develop. The research will be based on theories of identity forms (Dubar, 2000) and identity dynamics (Kaddouri, 2006) to understand the tradeoffs between biographical and relational identities.
