Abstract : During our work in our society which deals with manufacturing machines for heavy industries, we developed the idea of powder sugar packing machine for one kilogram of mass. This is a project for an industry in Arab countries that demands a high productivity and output, where the order production varies in small or large quantities. First, our machine is designed for delicate and precise operation. The filling system, packaging, testing and printing, is controlled using PLC and automatically managed by Automate Programmable Industrial (API) software. Our design is divided into two production lines with two dosage cylinders that are connected to a conical cylinder ensilage of definite volume for a half-day of low production. This connection is possible using a divider powder sugar with two outputs to supply the two dosage cylinders. Thereafter, the dosage is provided by the following steps: the powder sugar stored in the conical cylinder silage through a powder divider to two dosage cylinders which are themselves controlled by pneumatic cylinders that operate according to dosage or emptying sugar. Then, wrapping and sealing system is designed to fill and pack the sugar in bags plastics where all the necessary information will be printed on their outer surface of the final product (trade, production date...). The dosage cylinders empty their own volume in a cone attached to an elliptical tube that has as role to give the final shape for the bags. A vertical resistance parallel to the tube welds bags. Thus, a pair of the pulleys forms a pulling system to make the welded bag vertically downward, where the transmission system is in the other side of the machine. The horizontal sealing knife system is positioned below the elliptical tube to saddle bags horizontally and make the dislocation between them. Finally, the bags fall onto a longitudinal guide to track the transport conveyor to the printing machine by passing through the scanner verification. This is the conveying and scanner phase. In addition, was adopted for basic equipment "SS304 stainless austenitic steels" and the "Polypropylene (PP)" according to the ISO1043 code for bags packaging. Our calculation required a precise choice of elements for our machine that are well known brands such as: belts and pulleys transmission system and pulling system England brand "Cross-Morse", the various bearings made by "NTN Corporation" American, the operating cylinders made by "Festo" in France, geared motors made in Germany "MOTOX Motoréducteurs SIEMENS" and the conveyor belt with rollers by "HABASIT" made in Switzerland, etc. Furthermore, noting that two dosage cylinders can work in synchronization without any overlapping problems between the bags, because of the good sizing for these production lines. In conclusion, our machine which has a longer life and excellent components recommended in the market produces 1 bag every 3 seconds. To report, the simplicity of the system reduces the need for maintenance and repair, which proves the performance of the machine.
