Rôle du rythme dans l'identification du locuteur

Abstract : The variation of the speech and the idiosyncrasy of the speaker are two important factors which are supposed to have influence on the performance of the Speaker Recgonition System. The notion "speaking styles" is the point who can join these two factors. In this research, we are interested in the rythme parameters of speech which carry the speakers' information. At the same time, the impact on the SR system of the speaking styles, especially the rythme parameters of the speech are also of high interest. Seven measures are implemented in this study in purpose of finding the rythme parameters in the speech. The rythme macro-classes are defined according the the classification results. The rythme of speech is demonstrated to be different between speakers. The factor "communication situation" and the "rôle of the speaker" also have influence on the rythme parameters however, the speaker factor is proved to be the main one. The rythme parameters are relatively efficient for the classification task. The macro-classes are proved to have an interaction with the SR system performance.
