Les sages-femmes libérales souhaitent-elles assurer la prise en charge des interruptions volontaires de grossesse médicamenteuses ? Enquête auprès des sages-femmes libérales des départements du Calvados, de la Manche et de l'Orne

Abstract : The aim of this work was to determinate, using a survey, if liberal midwives in three french departments (Calvados, Manche, Orne) wanted to take care of Voluntary Termination of Pregnancy using drugs. Within the 49 midwives who answered, 43,8 % declared that they wanted to take care of Voluntary Termination of Pregnancy using drugs, mostly in order to respond to a public health problem (95,2%). The mostly advanced argument by midwives who didn t want to take care of these, was that they didn t feel competent enough (55,6%). At last, 71,4 % within our midwives population were interested in a continuing education about Voluntary Termination of Pregnancy using drugs.
