La rupture prématurée des membranes avant 25 semaines d'aménorrhée : étude rétrospective réalisée au CHU de Caen entre 2003 et 2016

Abstract : Introduction : Preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM) before the viability term is a rare and serious event involving neonatal prognosis. Objectives : To evaluate the overall survival rate of pregnancies complicated by PPROM between 18 weeks of gestation (wg) and 24 wg and 6 days to find factors associated with neonatal prognosis. Method and Results : This was a retrospective observational study carried out at the University Hospital of Caen from 2003 (June) to 2016 (January). A total of 113 patients was included. The survival rate increases after 22 wg. The gestational age of delivery is the major associated factor. Discussion and conclusion : The associated factors founded in this study are only known in the postnatal period : delivery term, birth weight, Apgar score 1, among others. The rate of abortion for medical reasons seems to decrease.
