Habiter le temps et l'espace de la mobilité urbaine. Le cas de l'agglomération grenobloise

Abstract : Mobility is a majeure object of study in social and human sciences. Being recognised as a value for the entire planet inhabitants, this phenomena turns out to be central in the comprehension of societies over the coming years. The approach presented below aims to answer to the question about how individuals inhabit the travels and the connexion points of public tranports in urban areas? through an approach of the notion of "inhabiting" by the coupling between practices and representations of the time travel.
The study field is Grenoble's city, and more specifically the space-time that consitutes travels by bus and tramway. The results will take the form of a fisrt approach of the mobile habitacculum. Some elements related to social interaction, new technologies and levers of potential action concerning mobility public policies will be presented.
