Les troubles de l’oralité chez l’enfant autiste : comment « nourrir » la construction de soi ?

Abstract : Orality constitutes an important part of the ontogeny of the individual. For children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), eating disorders are frequent and their selfconstruction is altered. This thesis explores the oral feeding difficulties encountered by autistic children in relation to the development of their own body and its limits. Psychomotor therapy aims at enhancing the overall experience of the autistic child by considering sensory, emotional, relational, cognitive and postural factors of the oral-motor dysfunctions linked to his global psychomotor development.
