Le temps d’une vie, le temps du soin : la psychomotricité auprès de nos ainés au sein d’un centre d’accueil de jour Alzheimer

Abstract : The temporal disorientation experienced by the elderly suffering from dementia sis a recurring aspect of the geriatric clinic. It is characterized by a more or less complete incapacity to identify oneself in time. We will see that also has other aspects that all have repercussions on the identity of the patients, the sense of their existence and also on the relationship with care professionals. In order to decrease the consequences, it seems important to think about the stakes of the time during the life of the subject, and during the care with this population. But how can the psychomotor therapist be able to think of time in the supportive of our disoriented elderly ?
