Les enfants funambules : prévention et soutien psychomoteur de l’enfant prématuré et de sa famille

Abstract : The conditions of birth and hospitalization of the premature child can disrupt his psychomotor development as much on the motor and emotional level as relational. Nowadays, psychomotricity intervenes in the field of prevention, which allows it to find a place within a system welcoming young children (0-6 years) with a neurodevelopmental risk. This paper suggests exploring the possible repercussions of prematurity on the child and his family. We will check the tools used by the psychomotor therapist to identify psychomotor problems. As a result of this study, we will discuss about the specific role of the psychomotor therapist in a preventive follow-up with the child, parents and professionals of the multidisciplinary staff with which he evolves.
