Hiérarchisation des milieux humides : exemple sur le bassin versant de l'Arroux (Bourgogne)

Abstract : Nowadays, national and international programmes for wetlands conservation are established. Although wetlands are perceived as constraints, they provide many services to the society. Carrying out an inventory is the first to know them and then to preserve them. Wetlands prioritization and find some characteristics which will let us predict the absence or presence of floristic interests are the two main goals of the study. The final aim is to help about which areas and wetlands to focus on. Based on the wetlands inventory realised on the Arroux catchment basin, statistics show that mosaic complexes, mixed meadows and hay meadows have a highest probability to have floristic interests than pastures. In opposite with our expectation, large areas, more than 10 ha should be considered before the small ones, less than 1ha. Nevertheless, small mosaic complexes seem to be interesting. State plots are not more interesting than private plots as we had supposed. Maps produced from classification don’t point specific areas but an analysis in details show that actions must be focus on Antully plateau. For undergoing this study and doing concrete actions in order to preserve interesting wetlands, a collaborative work with owner is usefull.
