Évaluation des pratiques professionnelles dans le dépistage du diabète gestationnel

Abstract : Objective: The objective of the study is to conduct an evaluation of the professional practices concerning the screening of gestational diabetes compared to the recommendations of the CNGOF of 2010 in three maternities of Yvelines.
Methods: We collected the screening data from the obstetric records of all three maternity units and compared the screening of the patients to the 2010 CNGOF recommendations. The selected patients had delivered as of January 1, 2016.
Results: The study was conducted on 297 patients. A risk factor was present in 57% of these patients. Fasting blood glucose was achieved in 62% of patients. PGOT was prescribed in 62% of patients. Of the 127 patients who did not have a risk factor, 61.5% (n = 78) achieved fasting plasma glucose and 50% (n = 63) achieved OGTT. Both tests were prescribed at 14.5SA (+/- 6.9) for fasting glucose and at 26.1 SA (+/- 2.66) for HGPO. Another gestational diabetes test was performed in 15% of patients (n = 44).
Conclusion: The compliance rate of the CNGOF recommendations was 33% for the detection of gestational dibetes in our three maternities. Dissemination of recommendations to professionals would be necessary to improve and re-evaluate practices.
