Prise en charge de l'état de stress post-traumatique chez les "migrants avec un parcours de demande d'asile" : regards croisés sur les dispositifs existants en Rhône-Alpes

Abstract : Unprecedented since the Second World War, the world is facing a major humanitarian crisis which, by the end of 2015, included more than 65.3 millions uprooted people. Among them, 21.3 millions were refugees and 3.2 were asylum-seekers. European countries, such as France, see their number of asylum applications rising. These migrants (asylum seekers, refugees and rejected) are yet at risk of developing post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD). The goal of this study is to give a survey, within the Rhône-Alpes region, of the patient care concerning migrants applying for asylum and suffering from PTSD. Will be taken into account the existing means and facilities as well as the many actions engaged by the professionals in the forms of care or guidance. This qualitative, multi-centric survey has been conducted with the help of 18 professionals working within psychiatric PASS (Permanences d'Accès aux Soins de Santé, french medical facilities accessible to people in precarious situations), somatic PASS and associations. It has allowed better characterization of this public, has lead to identify their care pathways and to analyze the functioning of the existing measures. As a whole, it permitted to better understand the different care measures proposed in the context of this pathology and to account for the difficulties encountered by the professionals. Eight suggestions for improvement have been extracted from interviews analysis to enhance the care of these migrants suffering from PTSD. These recommendations imply changes within immigration and public health management policies, professional training measures and the creation of new coordinating and specialized devices.
