Intérêt de l'utilisation de biofeedback dans la reprise de la marche

Abstract : Regularly, after an orthopedic or traumatology surgery of lower limbs, the surgeons prescribes a partial weight bearing. Rehabilitation is an essential step to restore a functional walking. It is important to practice a correct weight-bearing in the re-learning of walking. Indeed, the distribution of the weight of the body and pressure has an essential function in the bone consolidation. It can be dangerous if the pressure is too much important and can lead to a fracture. Moreover it can increase the delay of bone consolidation. In this study, we will study the interest of biofeedback due to baropodometric insoles. This work involves an experiment on a small number of patients in partial weight bearing after a lower limb fracture. It compare a current physiotherapist method with scales and a new technological device. Finally, the goal is to find an effective learning method that allows patients to follow the surgeon’s prescription.
