Transmission and enclosure through the figure of the teacher: a comparative literary study of Antic Hay by Aldous Huxley, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Muriel Spark and Pnin by Vladimir Nabokov

Abstract : This transdisciplinary work looks into the manner in which the figure of the teacher is used in examples of Anglo-Saxon 20th century literature and what these depictions reveal of issues pertaining to social and historical representations of identity, gender and intergenerational transmission.
