Les clubs sportifs pour seniors : des formes d’engagement et de sociabilité différenciées

Abstract : Today, the population is aging. More and more seniors practice physical activities in association. The subject of this work will be to know what are the motivation of the seniors to practice in a club? Health? Social link? Moreover, the challenge will also be to observe the different forms of sociability who takes place in sports association. During this work, we have process to an ethnographic study of an association: L’AMPAR who is an association dedicated to the seniors located in Saint-Malo. During our studies, we questioned 13 persons on the evolution of their sport practice, their motivation… From these interviews, on one part, we could observe a certain social homogeneity among the participants. On another part, we were able to identify different forms of sports commitment and sports sociability.
