L'hypnose : un nouvel outil thérapeutique au service de la rééducation linguale ?

Abstract : The tongue, when functional, is an incredible natural shaper of the alveolodental arches and allows harmonious orofacial growth. However, in the case of a dysfunction, it can cause more or less significant dysmorphosis that will need to be corrected as early as possible. Lingual rehabilitation is a long and difficult path that can be successful with: motivation, consistency and perseverance. After having muscled and improved lingual dexterity, the transition to automation remains the crucial step. The acquisition of this reflex by conscious means having shown its limits, the contribution of hypnosis, which opens the doors of the unconscious, could be a therapeutic tool to study. However, the lack of data in the current literature shows that this track is yet to be explored.
