Quels sont les déterminants influençant la décision du dosage de la troponine en ambulatoire par les médecins généralistes devant une douleur thoracique

Abstract : Objectives: The main objective is to identify factors that influence the generalist practitioner's decision to prescribe a cardiac troponin dosage in front of an atypical thoracic pain. Methods: This is a cross quantitative investigation conducted from 228 practitioner in South Corsica. Results: This is a descriptive research study including 228 practitioner of which 138 practitioner answered to survey. The participation rate has been to 60.5%. 60 practitioner practice in the rural setting and/or countryside, and 78 practitioner apply in urban settings. The electrocardiogram is carried out by 90% of rural practitioner's against 14% urban medical colleagues p <0.01. The cardiac troponin dosage realised by 92% to practitioner settled in city versus only 12% rural counterparts p<0.01 Conclusion: Our research allowed to demonstrate that ECG use in as part of take over an atypical thoracic pain limit the cardiac troponin prescription's congruent with the HAS recommendation.
