La vraisemblance au sein du processus de production et de diffusion

Abstract : This thesis questions the principle of realism transposed into television and how the production and broadcast’s steps serve to reinforce it. The viewer’s adherence and fidelity to programs hinges on this credibility. In fact, television reflects a vision of the world, a recon-struction of the world is necessary to question. If viewers can’t believe in the world which is presented to them through television, they would have no interest in watching it. Yet, French people watch television about 4 hours a day. It is therefore necessary to study the way produc-tion companies manage to make their shows plausible.
