La démarche de projet au service de l’estime de soi à l’école

Abstract : Active pedagogies teach pupils to start projects. This approach motivates them by helping them meet their needs. They set their objectives and decide on their own work. The project approach encourages cooperation and values pupils. Does this approach help pupils develop their self-esteem? An elementary school class experimented this approach and decided to create a quiet corner for when a pupil is getting angry. They shared the work load and established different groups. After this experimentation, we have noted a change in the pupils’ perception of themselves and of the class.
