Caractérisation d'une patientèle suivie en implantologie dans le service d'odontologie de l’hôpital Saint André à Bordeaux

Abstract : Oral implantology is now an alternative of choice in the management of edentulousness. Nowadays, aesthetics and functional comfort are two of the main demands of edentulous patients. For several years, the University Dental Hospital of Bordeaux has been providing implant care to patients wishing to undergo fixed and long-term prosthetic rehabilitation. The objective of this work is to know the demographic, geographical and socioprofessional characteristics of a population coming to consult in implantology. Through a study of patients' follow-up files, we identified the demography, the geographical area, the type and the number of implants placed.
