Étude épidémiologique des signes ventilatoires et du sommeil chez des patients adultes consultant pour un traitement orthodontique

Abstract : The sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome is the best know and the most frequently met respiratory sleeping disorder. This epidemiological study is to define from an adult population consulting orthodontic, the number of functional signs and to see which are the most frequent among them. Their association should allow to establish a screening test through a Khi2 test with 85% of reliability. The hyperdivergence mandibular, a low position of the tongue, a reduced class of the VAS, a mouth breathing, a decreased recovery, a class II molar and a deep roof of the mouth are general signs of AHOS but their associations don’t have predictive values.
