Intégration de la CFAO directe en cabinet

Abstract : Since the 1970s, Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), applied to dentistry, has been constantly evolving. The goal of this work is to determine the extent to which CAD/CAM has integrated with dental practices, allowing the practitioner to control the digital workflow from the optical impression to prosthetic placement. We speak of chairside CAD/CAM. The first part recalls the general principles of CAD/CAM. In the second part, we wanted to know the opinions and practices of dentists with a complete chairside CAD/CAM system in France. Through this survey, we will discuss training in this new field of study, the choice of materials and materials, work habits but also the future of chairside CAD/CAM in view of the rules that frame it.
