« S’encabaner » pour mieux s’habiter : une cabane en thérapie psychomotrice sur le chemin de l’individuation

Abstract : As he grows up, the child will go through the stages of the individuation process. A psychomotor therapy can support him in this movement, by a psycho-corporal approach. During their respective therapy, Ryan and Théo invested hut-shelter devices. They each testified, in their own way, of an evolution that aroused my interest in this device. The hut-shelter is both a containing space - with an inside and an outside, like an envelope - and an elaborate construction - potentially a projection support, reflecting the child’s body image. It also implies the idea of edification. In this sense, it can support the psycho-corporal construction of the child who walks towards self-becoming. It is nothing without the intervention and involvement of the therapist. It is thanks to the countenance of the psychomotrician to which it echoes, among others, that the device can operate the therapeutic functions mentioned in this memoir.
