« Aïe, mes enveloppes ! » La psychomotricité, un soutien aux enveloppes psychocorporelles des personnes âgées atteintes de syndrome démentiel

Abstract : The elderly person who suffers from demential syndrome is impacted in all its pyschomotor dimensions. This paper focuses specifically in the study of their psychobodily envelopes, using patients hospitalised in cognitive behavioural units as a support. Those patients seem to show, through their psychobehavioural disorders, that their psychobodily envelopes got damaged. In this paper, we will study how psychomotricity can help cleanse those envelopes, especially through individual therapeutic touch sessions as well as through psychomotor grouped sessions. Hence, the psychomotrician is a support for elderly people with deficient envelopes, not only through the mediation he offers but by his behaviour as a therapist as well.
