Analyse de la filière post-urgences "colique néphrétique" aux urgences de l'Hôpital Nord

Abstract : Objectives: Renal colic amount to 1 to 2% of emergency consults and relapse in 50% of cases. A post emergency consultation was initiated in the Hôpital Nord of Marseille, to facilitate ambulatory care for patients with non-complicated renal colic. The objective of this study is to analyse the interest of this consultation. Methods: Epidemiological, single-center, “before and after” study in two parts: one retrospective of 6 months (before the protocol) et one prospective during one year (after the creation of the consult). Results: 100% of patients included in this protocol managed to realize a low-dose scan against 40.9% in the group before the protocol. The delay before medical imaging was shortened from 7 to 4 days with the protocol. 74.8% of included patients who didn’t realize the scan, didn’t receive the convocation. Excluding these patients, 87.2% of the patients included in the protocol realized an imagery against 63% before (p< 0,001). 31% of patients who had the scan went to a specialized consult with a urologist thanks to the protocol. Conclusions: The establishment of a post emergency consultation for renal colics facilitate the access to low dose scan within a period consistent with the last European recommendations. It enables to centralize a patient file and to get a urologist consultation if needed.
