Effet d'un entrainement en mémoire de travail sur la compréhension syntaxique dans le TDL

Abstract : This study analyzed the effects of a training in Working Memory (WM), targeting the phonological loop and the central executive, on the capacities of WM and syntactic comprehension in children with typical development (TD) and with developmental language disorder (DLD). For that, eight children with DLD and three children TD had an experimental training in WM, and eight children with TDL and five DT children, matched in age, carried out an alternative training, which focused on school field. The analysis of the results showed an improvement in the experimental group's MdT skills after training. However, it has not shifted to comprehension skills of complex sentences, possibly because of tests too complex for subjects, involving extralinguistic factors and requiring many cognitive resources.
