Apprentissages et jeux : l'utilisation du jeu en mathématiques au cycle 2

Abstract : During my theoretical research, I firstly interessed myself in what a game could be. It is largely exploited in preschool but then it has less and less place in class. Facing the issues that our school actually knows, this medium is to be questionned. Is it a medium that we have to promote ? The experimentation of this report has been done in CE2, end of the second cycle, in which the game is usually not highlighted. The skills I wanted to work on were skills connected to mathematical debate (reasoning, argumentating, proving) and, further to the first game, many pupils had reached those skills. However, during the second game, it is notable that, in my research, pupils haven't remobilise what they had learned. Results of my experimentation can confirm that skills are not transferable from one game to another game and from one game to a purely mathematical activity. Those results are not really significant and other experimentations would be necessary.
