M. Matériel, Les dossiers médicaux de tous les patients ayant présenté une hépatite E, prouvée par PCR

, Résultats : Durant la période de l'étude 105 infections par le virus de l'hépatite E ont été diagnostiquées par PCR dans notre institution, la majorité de génotype 3 (n=85/105). L'âge médian des patients était de, p.55

, Seize patients ont développé une hépatite chronique et parmi eux un patient non immunodéprimé a vu son infection se compliquer d'une cirrhose. Un patient immunodéprimé ayant développé une cirrhose virale E qui s'est compliquée de carcinome hépato-cellulaire. Trois patients ont présenté une ACLF (Acute on Chronic Liver Failure): un patient est décédé, le second a été transplanté et le troisième a récupéré sous traitement par ribavirine. Un traitement par ribavirine a été mis en place chez 27,6 % des patients. La guérison après premier traitement était de 79,3%. Conclusion : Le virus de l'hépatite E, sur la période 2012-2018 a représenté une cause non négligeable d'hépatite dans notre région avec une transmission majoritairement zoonotique, ans et le sex-ratio était de 3/1. La voie principale de contamination retrouvée était une consommation de viande porcine insuffisamment cuite
