, Un tiers (33.3%) des patients interrogés sont sous thiopurines (5ASA), et 56.2% sous biothérapie dont 35.4% sous anti-TNF alpha. Un tiers (33.3%) des patients présentait au moment de l'étude un antécédent de chirurgie en rapport avec sa maladie. Dans l'étude BIRD, l'âge médian était de 43 ans dont 61.5% de femmes. 26% des patients étaient sous thiopurines et 31% sous anti-TNF alpha, En effet, il ressort de cette étude que l'âge médian des répondants est de 43.5 ans dont 68.8% de femmes

, Une différence avec l'étude BIRD est la répartition entre MC et RCH. Dans notre étude, cette répartition est équitable (52.1% de patients atteints de MC et 47.9% de patients atteints de RCH)
