L’action foncière au coeur des processus de négociation pour la restauration de la continuité écologique des rivières. Études de cas sur le bassin de la Dordogne

Abstract : Restoration has become the new paradigm for river management in order to reach a Good Environmental Status by 2021 as requested by the Water Framework Directive. Implementation of those works and operations are quite constraining as it requires the modification and sometimes the destruction of transverse structures on private rivers. In order to implement those operations, river managers must reconcile environmental, social and land issues. Such works imply negotiation processes with all land users and owners. The cases of the Tude and Haute-Dronne rivers, managed by various river managers (a river syndicate for the first and a Natural Park for the second), are presented and analysed in order to better understand their strategies and compare the actions they have been implementing.
