É. Dans-notre, un seul cas de SCC persistant était mis en évidence avec aggravation de l'ENMG post-opératoire nécessitant une nouvelle prise en charge chirurgicale de libération. Le taux de reprise chirurgicale en raison de la persistance des symptômes n'est pas supérieur à celui observé avec la chirurgie à ciel ouvert et sous endoscopie, vol.29

, Avec les chirurgies sous contrôle échographique du SCC, une seule étude sur 88 patients retrouve un SCC récidivant à 14 mois, vol.24

, car les données n'étaient pas disponibles pour les 602 patients. 103 patients ont été revus à distance pour divers motifs (pour la plupart autre que leur SCC), ils étaient néanmoins systématiquement interrogés par l'opérateur sur la réapparition des symptômes du SCC. Au sein de cette population, un seul cas de récidive du canal carpien a été confirmé par les examens paracliniques (ENMG et échographie). Même si un taux de récidive ne peut être calculé, il ne semble pas y avoir de sur-risque de récidive par rapport à la chirurgie, Nous n'avons pu calculer un taux de récidive dans notre étude

, notre étude présente néanmoins plusieurs limites : il s'agit d'une étude rétrospective ce qui diminue la qualité du recueil des données (données manquantes ou incomplètes, absence de score validé).
