Le Guide Référentiel « Genre et Espace Public » de la ville de Paris : une politique urbaine genrée innovante

Abstract : The work devoted to the place of women in the city tends to show that even in societies where equality between men and women is commonly valued, the city is made by and for men. In order to promote a more inclusive development, the Paris City Council published a Guide Book in October 2016 which proposes to make the city differently by integrating the question of gender in urban planning. The city of Paris is also involved in numerous renovation projects with the motto "innovation". The study proposes to analyse the place of gender, as a criterion for an innovative development, in the Parisian context. Finally, between urban policy and equality policy, the Parisian guide has some difficulties to impose itself as an innovative urban approach.
