Représentations des acteurs de soins primaires à propos des soins palliatifs et des unités de soins palliatifs en Ille et Vilaine

Abstract : INTRODUCTION: The end of life is a vehicle for many representations that impact care. The main objec-tive of this study is to know those of the liberal actors on palliative care (PC) and palliative care units (UCP) and to compare them with hospital ones. METHODS: A questionnaire was sent by email to all the liberal doctors of Ille et Vilaine in January 2018, as well as some FDI. RESULTS: 103 liberal doctors were included. 81% say they have no training in PC and 22% admit to significant difficulties. For both popula-tions, the USP would provide overall care for the patient and his entourage. The notion of difficulties in the home (dependence, exhausted environment, no control of symptoms) as a criterion of hospitalization is less addressed by hospitals. CONCLUSION: Overall care and the environment are at the forefront when discussing UCP. The question of domicile is central in liberal.
