Greffes sous sinusiennes, complications, conduite à tenir

Abstract : Dental extraction of the posterior maxillary region often ends up with a resorption of the alveolar and a pneumatization of the sinus, leading to a significant bone defect for prosthetic implant rehabilitation. The recovery of bone volume by sinus lift is the standard technique for implant-prosthetic rehabilitation in posterior maxillary areas, these sinus grafts are regularly performed operations. The great diversity of materials makes it possible not to require a second operating site, however the authors disagree on the choice of reference materials. The frequency of complications is low, yet they sometimes occur and the topic is easily forgotten. The purpose of this thesis was to report various complications and their management, the understanding of their mecanism to better treat them and avoid their repetition. For this, an increased knowledge of the anatomy, functions of the sinus, sinus lift indications and contraindications. Good management of complications ensures the survival of the graft, the implants and the success of the prosthetic treatment.
