Sécurisation du circuit des spécialités contenant de la toxine botulique au CHU Grenoble Alpes

Abstract : Botulinum toxin is viewed by a lot of people as a drug used in plastic surgery for its anti-wrinkle effect. However, there is many other therapeutic uses for botulinum toxin. It has become a major part in the global support of some patient but its dispensing and its use can be problematic. Brand name drugs containing botulinum toxin are submitted to very strict constraints regarding their storage, dispensing and injection which raises some critical points at various level. This work is intended to assess all thoses critical points and propose a solution for securing and trace all the drugs containing botulinum toxin at CHUGA (Grenoble's teaching hospital). This solution is in the form of a web application which can be use by everyone involved in the dispensing of botulinum toxin drugs.
