, En fonction de l'étiologie du ptosis, nous avons classé les patients dans 3 catégories : 11 ptosis (35.48%) étaient classés dans le groupe des ptosis « secondaires » à une pathologie ophtalmologique préexistante (kératite, endophtalmie, Les patients du groupe « Autre » étaient plus jeunes que les patients des autres groupes (p=0.017), pp.9-29

, 64%) ayant un résultat insatisfaisant dans les suites d'une chirurgie de ptosis, 2 patients (18.18%) ayant eu un ptosis secondaire à une injection de toxine botulique dans le muscle frontal à visée esthétique, un ptosis dans les suites d'un AVC et un ptosis d'origine indéterminé. Les caractéristiques de la population étudiée sont résumées dans le Tableau 1. -moyenne (écart-type) importante dans les sous-groupe « Autre » et « Secondaire ».
