Intérêt d’une remédiation attentionnelle et métacognitive sur la compréhension écrite de texte chez les jeunes TDA/H

Abstract : ADHD is a complex disorder with multiple aetiology. A executive dysfunction is oftenly considered as a cause of inattention and/or hyperactivity. Due to multiple repercussions, a multidisciplinary therapy is necessary. Recently, Francine Lussier has built the PIFAM protocol based on a top-down strategy and proposing a metacognitive approach.
On the other hand, the written comprehension of text is an exercise requiring the activation of many executive functions and preserved attentional abilities. Many studies agree that a deficit in textual comprehension is observed in ADHD.
This study seeks the benefits of this protocol on the written comprehension of text for 4 adolescents ADHD. 2 out of 4 patients improved evaluations, the 2 others follow more a natural evolution. Working memory and language skills appear to be closely correlated with improving these abilities.
