Analyse des connaissances et des capacités de repérage des professionnels de la petite enfance en cas de suspicion de troubles de l'oralité, du langage oral et de la communication chez l'enfant de 0 à 3 ans. Mesure de l'efficacité d'une action de prévention primaire

Abstract : The identification of dysorality, language and communication disorders in young children is the subject of many recommendations. Early childhood professionals are involved in this process, their observations allow doctors to refer children who may have a disorder to a specialist. How can collaboration between speech therapists and PEPs lead to the identification of dysoraliy, language and communication disorders in children aged 0-3 years? A prospective questionnaire survey for early childhood professionals and speech and language therapists enabled us to assess the current state of PEPs' skills, their need for training and the collaboration between PEPs, speech and language therapists and doctors in early identification.
The results of this survey initiated the implementation of a primary prevention action among PEPs. Our results revealed a significant improvement in the capacities of PEPs in terms of early detection after primary prevention action. By informing PEPs about the specificities of the identification of oral language and communication disorders, speech and language therapists have been able to consolidate the skills of PEPs that may lead to more effective identification of oral language, oral language and communication disorders in children aged 0 to 3 years.
