Développement et faisabilité d’un test d’évaluation de la mémoire sémantique par le dessin d’items

Abstract : The semantic memory regroups our knowledge of words and concepts and is found in certain neurological pathologies or syndromes. Numerous tests exist which permit us to objectify deficits in the semantic memory, in verbally or non-verbally judgment as well as oral productions. Due to the absence of tests that evaluate these deficits a selection of items was established in a pre-test in order to produce a test based on drawings of items. In this study, we proposed a calibration of the test based on drawings of items. This test was given to 181 healthy people. The results allowed us to compare the differences in the level of the scores between the people from the NSC1 and the NSC3 groups as well as the time it took the 64 and under group and the 65 and over group. This study was undertaken using a sample of healthy individuals in order to get a homogenous distribution of results, and then the results were compiled with the same tests given to individuals suffering from problems with semantic memory. The results were then used to evaluate the suitability of clinical practice.
