L'incontinence urinaire chez les femmes sportives primipares au cours de la grossesse et en post-partum

Abstract : This study aims at estimating the urinary repercussions of sports activity in primiparous women during their pregnancy and post-partum, but also what they know about perineal rehabilitation and what they expect from it. This is a quantitative, monocentric prospective study where two patient groups were solicited. The first survey was distributed to primiparous women coming to have their ultrasound in the third trimester at Caen University Hospital and the second was carried out on the limesurvey platform where the patients answered our questions more than 90 days after their delivery. We have not found the sport significantly associated with the risk of urinary incontinence, but gestational urinary incontinence is, in turn, a risk factor for urinary incontinence in post-partum, which raises the question of a new prescribing criterion for perineal rehabilitation. Furthermore, patients are mostly informed about perineal rehabilitation, are satisfied with it and are diligent in its implementation.
