, Notre recherche est donc née de la question de recherche suivante : s'ils peuvent développer des pathologies postcommotionnelles, traumatiques ou neurodégénératives, pourraient-ils ressentir un changement dans leurs facultés de communication ? Afin d'y répondre, nous avons diffusé un questionnaire explorant différents aspects de la communication : discours, conversation, parole, émotions et ressenti en société. 156 réponses ont été traitées, chez des hommes, rugbymen, pratiquant en amateurs. Notre objectif principal était de vérifier s'ils ressentaient des changements ou difficultés depuis le début de leur pratique dans l'un ou plusieurs des items de communication proposés. Secondairement, nous avons cherché à en identifier les principaux facteurs d'influence : âge, niveau d'études, durée et fréquence de pratique, nature et nombre de chocs. Nos résultats ont montré que les changements majoritairement ressentis concernent le discours, notamment la difficulté à trouver les mots. Mais on relève également des changements dans les émotions, la conversation, la parole et le ressenti en société. Les deux facteurs d'influence retrouvés sont le type de choc subi par les joueurs et le nombre de chocs. Ces facteurs d'influence prouvent le lien direct entre la pratique sportive et le développement d'altérations de la communication. Nos résultats incitent à penser qu'un suivi orthophonique serait pertinent dans cette population, Nous savons actuellement que les chocs reçus dans les sports dits « de contact » induisent des répercussions neurologiques chez les sportifs
