Tutorat et apprentissages en CE2

Abstract : This dissertation is a reflection about a complex cooperative educational practice, often used in multilevel classes: tutoring. The tutorial practice is based on communication and metacognition activities in which an expert student helps a tutored student. This dissertation makes the link between tutoring set up in a fourth-year primary school class and student learning. It developed the idea that a tutoring practice would allow all same age students class, whether mentors or mentee, to acquire or reinforce their academic skills. A reflection was conduct based on scientific research about learning, pedagogical differentiation, tutoring around the child growth and led to the implementation of tutoring in the classroom. Tutorial experiments took place in the same class of fourth-year primary school through assessments of students' skills, observation grids, questionnaires and interviews to validate or not the statements made.
