Devenir psychomotricien, un long chemin avec l’autre et soi-même OU Comment appréhender la démarche d’accompagnement en Soins palliatifs

Abstract : To become a psychomotrician is to be doubly engaged. At the same time involved in the relationship with the patient, the therapist is also involved with himself, in an internal listening. His identity is built in this articulation between the meeting with others and his own experience in session. In order to discern his experience from the patient's, he can rely on it to make it a therapeutic tool. This capacity is built on what the patient brings as material of elaboration. The psychomotor theories, accompanied by a personal work of the therapist (psychotherapic and / or psychocorporal), related to this elaboration, then open clinical hypotheses.
A palliative care accompaniment where the therapist observes an important respect for the patient's evolution, also brings him to be aware of his place. Thus, it is a reciprocal path that occurs, where the psychomotor identity is built alongside the patient's follow-up.
