Outils et place du masseur-kinésithérapeute dans l’éducation thérapeutique des enfants de 6 à 10 ans, porteurs de mucoviscidose : focus sur l’apprentissage des connaissances de la maladie

Abstract : To ensure that children understand their condition, physiotherapists need pedagogic support. The aim of this study is to identify the physiotherapist’ ways to transmit knowledge about cystic fibrosis to children aged 6 to 10. Method : two kinds of surveys were used for this study (one for each exercise mode). The sending was done by email. Results : In total, 37 answers were analysed. Discussion and conclusion : the number of reponses for this study is too poor to make clear conclusions. The tendancy shows that physiotherapists who have a Therapeutic Patient Education (TPE) formation and work in hospital may have more ways of pedagogic support that physiotherapist who have not TPE formation and work in private practice. TPE should be developped in private practice by the way of a specific remuneration for this practice.
