Un jeu d’enfant : la rencontre avec Taz médiatisée par le jeu : mise en scène et mise au travail des problématiques d’enveloppe psychocorporelle et d’angoisses archaïques

Abstract : Playing supports the child’s psycho-physical development from the earliest stages of life. By playing, therefore, it would seem a child provides clues as to the coherence of his/her identity-building process, of which the structuring of the psycho-physical envelope is the basis. This leads us to questioning the correlation between his/her ability to play and the integrity of his/her psycho-physical envelope, which will be done through analyzing Taz’s untypical approach to playing during the psychomotor therapy sessions. Using playing as a basis for psychomotor observation first led us to hypothesize deficiencies in some of the functions of the psycho-physical envelope, resulting in specific forms of archaic bodily anguish. In addition, during the psychomotor therapy sessions, playing turned out to be a privileged therapeutic tool that could be used to provide a dynamic approach to Taz’s predicament, to contain his psychomotor instability, and to allow his play to develop unhindered.
