Grossesses rapprochées et conséquences maternelles, obstétricales et néonatales

Abstract : Objective: Compare the interpregnancy interval said to be short (with a gap inferior to 18 months), far apart, and too look for maternal risks, like obstetrical or neonatal risks. The major objective was to question the utility of the recommendations defined by the CNGOF and the OMS concerning the spacing between pregnancies. Material and Methods: Exposed – non exposed study monocentrical. The study concerns women having given birth at least twice at the Hopital Couple Enfant of the Grenoble Alpes. Their second birth had to be situated between the 1st of October 2018 and the 30th of January 2019. Results: 300 patients were selected for the research project. Short interpregnancy interval were present in 116 of the cases. Conclusion: The results have shown a maternal and obstetrical additional risk, in particular concerning the risk of anaemia during the pregnancy and a premature rupture of the membranes before 37 SA. Nothing has been revealed concerning the neonatal risks. The study has shown that these pregnancies were in most cases, discovered belatedly and therefore less kept up with. Our study is a literature review which seems to justify a specific support in particular for anemia screening and folic acid supplementation. However no specific support seems necessary in terms of risk of prematurity. Our study on fostering factors allowed us to emphasize on the population at higher risk of frequent pregnancies, to be able to step up preventions towards them, particularly to prescribe a contraception adapted in post partum by delivering a clear and comprehensible information and insist on the important of post natale visits.
