En quête de sens : l’aventure psychomotrice au cœur de la symbolisation chez les enfants instables

Abstract : Finding a meaning is a quest for each of us. The body and its outward signs need to be represented for the individual’s psychological balance. The complex clinical case of instable children brings to light the difficulties in representation, which may often be conflictual with their surrounding environnement. This thesis studies the psychomotor therapist‘s position in supporting representation processes. It is both a rich and complex support work. The psychomotor therapist needs to help the patient in differentiation, autonomy and also to increase his ability to play. Supported by the psychomotor therapist, the child engages himself in a search for meaning, where body experiences are represented.
